Why do you need a regular mac and cheese if you can have black mac & cheese? Today you will learn not only the recipe for macaroni and cheese but also how to make best homemade pesto sauce from lemon basil with real hazelnuts and delicious chicken breasts in Chinese style with black bean paste marinade! You will need these ingredients:
- 300g chicken breast
- 1-2 cup black pasta, cheddar cheese
- handful of basil, lemon basil, hazelnuts, fresh mint
- 2-3 garlic cloves, lemon juice, 1tbsp. black bean paste, 1 cup pavlaka (Serbian sour cream)
- salt, olive oil, chili oil, canola oil
- AlmazanKitchen original cookware and utensils (optional)
- Grind handful of hazelnuts along with 1tsp. of salt, 2-3 garlic cloves, handful of lemon basil and fresh mint in the mortar using pestle.
- Pour with olive oil and lemon juice.
- Mix well.
- Slice chicken breasts into strips.
- Pour chicken breasts with chili oil, and coat it with black bean paste.
- Mix well. Put aside for a while.
- Boil the water in the cooking cookware.
- Toss in 1-2 cups of black pasta, cook for 8-10 min on low heat. Drain the pasta.
Black Mac and Cheese with hot Chinese chicken under pesto sauce:
- Preheat the pan, grease it with oil.
- Fry the chicken breasts. Stir constantly.
- Add 1 cup of pavlaka, mix everything, then add cheddar cheese dices and pasta. Mix everything well.
- Fry everything until cheese melts.
- Serve, finish off with pesto sauce.
